Job summary

Levo Credit Union in Sioux Falls seeks a Member Service Officer 1 to provide information and support via phone, internet, and email to members and lending partners. You will examine and evaluate loan applications for consumer loans and handle everyday account services with professionalism.

The role requires strong communication, cross-selling ability, and accurate documentation. Training will cover policies, compliance, and cross-department collaboration in a busy community branch setting.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED; or related experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret information; write reports and correspondence.
• Knowledge of Credit Reports and basic math for loan decisions.

Responsibilities

• Interview members to assess needs and cross-sell financial products.
• Provide information and account service in a professional manner.
• Open/close accounts, process payments, and answer questions on accounts and loans.
• Gather information to ensure complete loan/documentation per policy.
• Evaluate financial status and determine loan eligibility and collateral requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of mortgage, home equity, and business loan products for referrals.
• Complete outbound/member follow-up calls and assist other departments as needed.
• Record member inquiries into computer systems and perform related tasks.
• Oversee loan closing and funding activities and provide relationship servicing.
