Responsibilities include handling walk-in and call inquiries, developing insurance leads, and ensuring accurate documentation while collaborating with management and sales teams.

Qualifications

• High School GED required.
• 1–3 years customer service preferred.
• Moderate proficiency in data entry.
• Moderate Microsoft Word and Excel skills preferred.
• Advanced customer service skills preferred.
• Property and Casualty/Solicitors License required.
• Property and Casualty Insurance License, valid in selling state - issued by state within 1 year required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service to members and insureds; provide service and information to members regarding memberships and insurance.
• Assist walk-in and telephone members with changes to existing policies or memberships, renewals and billing information.
• Develop insurance leads for office sales agents and life specialists.
• Communicate positively with all staff and management.
• Engage in cross-selling opportunities with members and agents.
• Resolve member and insured related problems using discretion and independent judgment.
• Handle routine work and basic complaints within guidelines.
• Refer complex issues to higher level Insurance Specialists or Sales Management.
