Auto Club Enterprises in Missouri seeks an entry-level Sales Agent Trainee at our district office. You will train to become a Sales Agent, selling insurance products and club memberships, with on-site and off-site assignments as directed.

The role emphasizes timely documentation, adherence to underwriting guidelines, and developing new sales leads. A path to full sales duties awaits successful completion of training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• 1-3 years Insurance sales/service preferred.
• Oral and written communication skills required.
• Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint required.
• Property and Casualty Insurance License, valid in selling state - Issued by State Required
• Valid Driver's License, acceptable Department of Motor Vehicles record and minimum liability insurance - Issued by State

Responsibilities

• Sell Insurance products utilizing the fundamentals of SSC. Quote rates, qualify applicants, inspect vehicles or property and complete documentation with underwriting criteria.
• Sell Club memberships, promote consideration of Club services and products, and provide information on membership and insurance.
• Develop sales leads and contacts; manage time to achieve goals; take advantage of cross-sell opportunities.
• Maintain an acceptable product balance by cross-selling to enhance offerings.
• Ensure proper ratings on new policies based on statements and underwriting guidelines.
• Provide policy service in person, by phone or by correspondence; complete forms to amend or update records.
• Collect membership and insurance payments and secure Club monies.
• Attend meetings, training and seminars; complete timecards and required documentation.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and broaden member relationships.
