You will assist agents, service members, and insureds, handle membership and policy inquiries, and help with policy changes and billing. The role involves generating leads, cross-selling opportunities, resolving issues, and providing accurate information following underwriting guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School GED required.
• 1-3 years customer service preferred.
• Moderate proficiency in data entry.
• Moderate Word and Excel skills preferred.
• Advanced customer service skills preferred.
• Property and Casualty/Solicitors License required.
• Property and Casualty Insurance License valid in selling state (issued within 1 year).

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service to members and insureds.
• Sell memberships and assist in the sale of insurance to prospective insureds.
• Assist members with changes to existing policies or memberships, renewals, and billing information.
• Develop insurance leads for office sales agents and life specialists.
• Communicate positively and effectively with all staff and management.
• Provide service support for management, sales and life agents; engage in cross-selling.
• Resolve member and insured-related problems using discretion and judgment within guidelines.
• Handle routine transactions; escalate complex issues as needed.
