Job summary

The YMCA of Central New Mexico seeks a Part-time Member Service Representative to deliver exceptional service and build lasting member relationships. You will handle memberships, programs, and transactions with accuracy, while representing the YMCA’s core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

In this role you will greet members, answer questions, process check-ins, and assist with tours and programs. Flexible morning/evening/weekend shifts support a welcoming community focus.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to actively listen and manage multiple tasks.
• Cash handling and data entry proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Greet every member and guest by name when possible to build relationships.
• Answer phones and provide accurate information about memberships and programs.
• Sell memberships and explain YMCA programs to prospects.
• Process transactions and balance end-of-shift totals.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming front desk area and assist with onboarding new staff.
• Support training for new Member Service Team members.
