Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union (SECU) is seeking an Associate Member Services Officer in North Carolina. This entry-level role trains you in basic branch operations, member service, and account maintenance.

You will greet members, respond to inquiries by phone and in person, handle cash drawers, assist with wire transfers, and begin learning lending and collections under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Consistently demonstrates SECU's Core Values.

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Complete the Credit Unions Core Module Program within 12 months of hire date as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary member service by responding to inquiries in person and by phone.
• Perform routine branch duties including cash box management and account origination/maintenance.
• Assist with notary services as requested by management.
• Process wires and assist with foreign currency as needed.
• Begin learning lending and collections under supervision.
