Job summary

Villa Sport Athletic Club and Spa in Houston, TX is seeking an entry-level front desk role to learn and gain experience in a dynamic, guest-focused environment. You will provide consistent service at the Member Services Desk, help in multiple areas such as Café, Spa, Housekeeping, and Facilities, and help ensure a positive member experience from opening to close.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This is an entry-level position for someone who wants to learn and gain valuable experience.

The purpose of this position is to provide consistent quality service, accurate information regarding all areas of club operations, and to monitor Member Services Desk, including but not limited to policies and procedure.

With a can‑do spirit and willingness to help wherever needed, you will thrive at Villa Sport. In addition to the Member Services department, you may be trained and assigned to one or more of these club areas:

• Café
• Recovery + Spa (reception)
• Housekeeping
• Sports
• Facilities

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS INCLUDE:

• Hourly, based on relevant experience to the role.
• 401K with dollar for dollar match up to 4%.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Opening‑shift availability -available to work opening shifts (4:30 amto 11:30 am)two to three times per week, and weekend opening shifts(5:30 amto 1:00 pm) as needed.
• Excellent phone skills; ability to handle intermittent heavy phones
• Efficient, well-organized, able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously
• Previous customer service experience
• Bilingual a plus
• Minimum 16 years of age (certification requirements vary for café roles)
• Five-star customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to quickly learn new tasks or technology
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced and varied environment where the customer is first
