Job summary

Planet Fitness Townsend, MA is seeking a friendly Member Services Representative to deliver a superior member experience in our Judgement Free Zone. You’ll greet guests, assist with sign-ups and memberships, answer inquiries, and help drive sales while maintaining club standards.

We offer flexible scheduling with options for full-time and part-time shifts, weekend availability, and a supportive team that values integrity, strong communication, and a positive attitude. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED certified (training provided by Planet Fitness).
• Basic computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Greet members/guests as they enter and exit the club; assist with questions during check-in.
• Promote the Judgement Free Zone; assist members on the club floor and support fitness journeys.
• Resolve member concerns and escalate to Club Manager as needed.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with inquiries.
• Perform membership functions: sign-ups, updates, cancellations, and transfers.
• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to club targets.
• Conduct prospective member calls and tours to assess membership needs.
• Execute retail transactions and drive sales while maintaining accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness of exercise equipment and Recovery Zone amenities; ensure restrooms are clean.
• Address safety/policy issues and maintenance needs promptly.
