Job summary

Baptist Health Federal Credit Union is seeking a Member Service Representative (MSR)/Teller to provide exceptional service while assisting members with their financial needs in a warm environment.

The role handles daily member transactions, account services, and compliance training, requiring strong communication, multitasking, and accuracy. This entry-level position emphasizes customer care and teamwork at the Arkansas location.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, email, and computer systems.
• Ability to learn and navigate multiple platforms and logins.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Cash handling, banking, or credit union experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing, and loan payments.
• Accept and process loan payments in person, by mail, and over the phone.
• Open new accounts and assist with account maintenance and updates, including address changes.
• Balance and maintain cash drawer accurately on a daily basis.
• Process IRA contributions and withdrawals.
• Perform wire transfers according to credit union procedures.
• Assist members with debit/credit card support, replacement cards, and ordering checks.
• Assist members with online applications and online banking support.
• Answer incoming phone calls and provide professional member assistance.
• Cross-sell credit union products and services based on member needs.
• Monitor transactions and accounts for fraud prevention and elder abuse awareness.
• Maintain accurate filing and documentation and assist loan department with filing as needed.
• Attend SEG meetings, pop-up events, and other credit union events as needed.
• Complete required compliance and regulatory training, including BSA/AML-related procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the VP of Operations and/or MSR Manager
