Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum up to 3 years of related experience in financial or banking environments.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with members and colleagues.
• Knowledge of BSA/OFAC compliance and related inquiries.
• Willingness to register and participate in NMLS; Notary Public certification may be required.
• Must complete annual BSA training and stay updated on applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with loan and credit card applications with complete and accurate documentation.
• Process and disburse loan proceeds; schedule loan closings with members.
• Complete month-end reporting and ensure compliance with internal standards.
• Help members open/close accounts, including investments and IRA accounts; maintain records.
• Conduct checks like SSN verification to prevent fraudulent accounts or delinquent balances.
• Serve as a liaison between members and departments; ensure clear communication.
• Process and authenticate financial transactions (deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, wires).
• Identify cross-sell opportunities for Credit Union products and services.
