Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union is seeking a Member Service Specialist II to join our branch team in a non-exempt, full-time role reporting to the Associate Branch Manager in Branch Channel Delivery. The position involves processing financial transactions, handling cash, and providing trusted financial guidance to members in a community-focused environment.

The MSS II will identify member needs, document opportunities in EnAct, participate in account opening processes (e.g., Roth IRA), and support branch

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years experience in a cash handling, service-oriented role.
• 6+ months as MSS I or teller at Golden 1 or another financial institution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes and audits financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments and general ledger entries while maintaining a cash drawer.
• Provides Golden 1 services to member, including cashier’s checks, money orders, savings bonds, wire transfers and debit card issuance.
• Assesses members needs while processing transactions.
• Maintains confidentiality of member and credit union information.
