Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union is seeking a Member Service Specialist II in the Arden Town Branch to deliver exceptional member service and handle cash operations. The role emphasizes accurate processing of deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other financial transactions while promoting Golden 1 products.

You will mentor junior MSS staff, assist with branch responsibilities, and stay compliant with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of cash handling and service experience.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and promote from within.

Responsibilities

• Process and audit financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments and general ledger entries while maintaining a cash drawer.
• Provide Golden 1 services to members, including cashier’s checks, money orders, savings bonds, wire transfers and debit card issuance.
• Assess members' needs while processing transactions.
• Identify opportunities to help members with Golden 1 products or services and document in EnAct.
• Report fraudulent activity to management and Financial Investigations per procedures.
• Assist in ATM/Teller cash dispenser operations and related tasks.
• Open deposits and specialty accounts (e.g., Roth IRA) and identify members’ financial service needs.
