Golden 1 Credit Union is seeking a Member Service Specialist II at the Stockton Branch. You will process and audit member transactions, maintain the cash drawer, and deliver trusted financial guidance.

Build relationships while offering services like deposits, transfers, and debit products. You’ll support branch operations and mentor junior staff, ensuring compliance and exceptional member service at every interaction.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of cash handling/service oriented experience.
• 6+ months as MSS I or teller at Golden 1 or another financial institution preferred.

Responsabilités

• Process and audit financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments and general ledger entries while maintaining a cash drawer.
• Provide Golden 1 services to members including cashier’s checks, money orders, savings bonds, wire transfers and debit card issuance.
• Assess members' needs while processing transactions and document in EnAct system.
• Identify opportunities to help members with Golden 1 products or services and document in EnAct.
• Identify and report fraudulent activity to management and Financial Investigations department as per procedures.
• Assist with ATM and Teller Cash Dispenser operations and maintenance as needed.
• Open deposit and specialty accounts (e.g., Roth IRA) and offer meaningful financial solutions to members.
• Mentor MSSIs and advise on processes; engage in consultative dialogue to identify financial needs.
