Qualifications

• Interpersonal Skills: requires confidentiality, discretion, diplomacy, tact, and clear verbal communication.
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills and ability to learn the core system and related software; able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and process transactions and service requests, including account opening and wires, within authorized signing authority.
• Learn and explain Credit Union products and services to members.
• Balance MSR cash drawer and daily transactions; assist with branch balancing.
• Educate and refer products/services; direct members to appropriate department when needed.
• Deescalate difficult member situations with judgment and a helpful attitude.
• Maintain vigilance and report unusual or suspicious activity.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
