Job summary

GreenState Credit Union in Rockford, IL seeks a Member Service Representative to provide quality, friendly service and handle daily transactions. You will answer questions, guide members through products and services, and be the face of the credit union during all interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Cash handling, sales, and customer service experience desired.
• Must be bondable.
• Reports to work punctually, works all scheduled hours, and works overtime as necessitated by business demand.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential duties in daily transactions and inquiries.
• Builds member relationships and guides to appropriate departments.
• Balances and reconciles cash drawer; maintains confidentiality of member information.
• Answers questions or refers to appropriate departments.
• Performs deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other transactions.
• Organizes MSR area and ensures security of confidential information.
