Police and Fire Federal Credit Union in Washington Township, NJ seeks an entry level Member Service Specialist I to deliver superior member service, process applications, resolve account issues, and support growth through the Total Member Connect (TMC) approach.

The MSS I collaborates with team to expand member relationships using product knowledge, maintains data security, and contributes to branch operations with professionalism and integrity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of Customer Service with Sales/Production goals preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional Member Service skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to remain professional and composed under pressure.
• Proficient with Computers and working in various software systems (Word, Excel, Outlook, Jack Henry Symitar/Episys, Meridian Link).

Responsabilités

• Adheres to PFFCU Commitment to our Members and leads by example at all times.
• Deliver superior member service by treating members with respect and providing friendly, professional service.
• Handle branch tasks including membership & loan applications, account issue resolution, and cash handling at the window, desk, or ITM.
• Ensure member information is secure and protected.
• Cross-sell Credit Union products through conversations to uncover member needs using the 5 Step TMC process.
• Utilize resources to handle inquiries efficiently and to completion.
• Demonstrate flexibility to help properly staff the branch.
• Make a positive first impression on members reflecting well on PFFCU.
• Assist in ITMs, Service Window, or Sales Desk tasks as needed.
• Focus on quality and minimize errors.
• Assist management with Dual Control processes.
• Aim for production goals with quality member conversations via TMC.
• Maintain a neat, organized workspace.
• Present a professional image in dress, demeanor and speaking voice.
