Job summary

TowneBank is seeking a Member Service Specialist/Representative to warmly welcome members, handle transactions, and support sales and service on the platform. The role covers teller functions, account openings, and cross-training to assist on the service platform as needed.

Responsibilities include cash handling, check cashing, and following AML/BSA guidelines while promoting TowneBank products and providing exceptional service across in-person, phone, and email channels.

Qualifications

• At least one year of bank teller experience with a single employer.
• Proven ability to give our members excellent service in person, on the phone, and by email.
• Ability to use basic computer skills including Outlook, Excel, Word and bank software programs.

Responsibilities

• Handle monetary transactions for members and enter them in the bank’s software programs and provide receipts.
• Verify checks and cash and examine documents for essential elements.
• Promote TowneBank and its products and services.
• Provide exquisite service to members in person, on the phone or by email.
• Balance cash drawer daily and maintain accuracy.
• Open new accounts and perform maintenance on existing accounts.
• Follow federal laws including AML and BSA.
