Job summary

First South Financial Federal Credit Union in Dyersburg, TN seeks a Universal Teller - Member Relationship Specialist to perform cashiering, open new accounts, and provide routine information about the credit union and its services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; associates degree in Business or related field preferred; work experience considered in lieu of formal education.
• Experience using PCs, calculators and other office equipment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Open new accounts, perform file maintenance in the computer and ensure membership cards are filled out properly and signed.
• Handle monetary transactions and retain documents for permanent records.
• Provide routine information concerning the credit union and its services.
• Balance cash drawer daily and show breakdown of remaining cash in drawer.
• Handle money orders and bank checks.
• Process night depository transactions.
• Balance ATM(s).
• Actively participate in needs-based sales by offering products and services to members.
• Process loan applications from start to finish, sign and fund approved loans and communicate denied decisions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
