Job summary

The Salvation Army Omaha Kroc Center is seeking energetic and relationship-oriented individuals to join our Welcome Desk team. You will deliver hospitality, assist with guest and member check-in, and help drive activity engagement.

Two years of customer service experience and strong communication are valued, with English proficiency and basic Microsoft Office skills. This part-time role emphasizes teamwork and confidentiality within a caring community environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; at least two years in customer service.
• English proficiency required; Spanish language skills are helpful.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage with diverse guests.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

Responsibilities

• Deliver world-class hospitality at the Welcome Desk for members and guests.
• Assist with member check-in and retention through relationship-building.
• Upsell programming and drive activity engagement through excellent service.
• Support membership sales and communicate center policies to the public.
• Conduct informative tours and ensure accurate information is shared.
