Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a Guest Relations Associate to deliver exceptional customer service at the Kroc Center and Railton Place. Responsibilities include greeting guests, assisting with program information and sales, handling inquiries, and providing administrative support.

The role involves ensuring safety, managing opening/closing duties, and assisting with incident reports and mail. Bilingual skills are a plus, with a focus on a welcoming guest experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent customer service skills in-person, over the phone, and digitally.
• Proficient typing and ability to learn new software with basic training.
• Proactive mindset with strong organization and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, energetic, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Bilingual in Spanish, Arabic, Cantonese/Mandarin, or Vietnamese preferred.
• Experience with a POS system and membership recruitment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and ensure a welcoming, positive experience.
• Process guest inquiries and sales with knowledge of programs and fees.
• Provide administrative support: filing, data entry, and mailing; maintain confidentiality.
• Handle and resolve guest complaints by evaluating all relevant data.
• Maintain security by checking in/out guests and monitoring activity.
• Report suspicious or inappropriate activity to management.
• Assist with emergencies and safety checks, and ensure events run on time.
• Open and close the facility and assist with incident reports and mail.
