Job summary

Hudson Valley Credit Union is recruiting for the position of Relationship Advisor. Primary Function: provide highest level member service through efficient, accurate transaction processing and applying a consultative needs-based sales approach to establish new member relationships and deepen existing ones.

The role emphasizes cross-selling HVCU products and services while educating members about available channels, including Internet Banking and mobile app, and requires commitment to accuracy,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Notary Public license within 12 months of hire
• NMLS registration required
• Minimum 1 year customer service and sales experience in financial/retail
• Teller or cash handling experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Process transactions accurately and educate members on the best channels to use (in-branch, Internet Banking, mobile app, audio response, Contact Center)
• Handle large volumes of cash and support branch operations
• Open new memberships, accounts, and loans; refer members to partners to meet needs
• Follow all policies and utilize systems to cross-sell HVCU products and services
• Maintain compliance with BSA and other regulatory training; participate in team initiatives
