Job summary

Hudson Valley Credit Union is seeking a Relationship Advisor to deliver high-level member service, process transactions accurately, and apply a consultative needs-based sales approach to grow and deepen member relationships.

You will educate members on digital channels, open new memberships and loans, cross-sell products, and collaborate with branch partners while upholding all policies and training. The role emphasizes teamwork and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; notary license within 12 months is preferred.
• NYS Notary Public license required within 12 months.
• NMLS registration required.
• Minimum 1 year customer service and sales experience in financial or retail environment.
• Previous teller or cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions accurately and educate members about digital channels.
• Handle large cash volumes and assist with branch operations.
• Open new memberships, accounts, and loans; cross-sell products as appropriate.
• Adhere to policies and use systems to support cross selling.
• Acquire product knowledge through ongoing training; train new associates.
• Meet or exceed individual and team goals; support marketing programs.
• Follow training, BSA requirements, and participate in projects.
• Support Lean Six Sigma principles and maintain regular attendance.
