Job summary

Capital Credit Union in Green Bay, WI is seeking a full-time Teller to assist members in person, drive-ups, or by phone, handling deposits, withdrawals, and routine transactions with accuracy and friendly service.

You will promote Credit Union products, respond to inquiries, and support branch operations including balancing the cash drawer and opening/closing duties.

Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are essential; previous cash handling and sales experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend detailed instructions and perform basic arithmetic.
• Operate an on-line teller terminal and basic office equipment.
• Knowledge of credit union products and procedures to process transactions.
• High degree of accuracy and close attention to detail.
• Analytical ability to research and resolve member problems and errors.
• Interpersonal skills to work with a diverse member base and cross-sell services.

Responsibilities

• Assist members in person, through drive-ups, and by telephone with transactions using an on-line teller terminal.
• Process special requests including stop payments, direct deposits, ACH, payroll deduction, wire transfers, and safe deposit boxes.
• Build financial relationships with members and refer to other specialists as needed.
• Educate members about Home Banking, E-Services and other products; promote Credit Union services.
• Balance cash drawer daily and report errors per policy; open/close branch following procedures.
• Perform miscellaneous duties and keep updated on policies by reading bulletins and attending meetings.
• May assist in training new employees and provide back-up to other departments as time permits.
