Job summary

Capital Credit Union in Greenville, Wisconsin, is seeking a friendly Teller to assist members in person, at drive-thru, or by phone, handling routine transactions with accuracy and a sales mindset. You will balance the cash drawer and provide high-quality service while promoting Credit Union products.

You will process deposits, withdrawals, and other routine transactions, answer questions about accounts and Home Banking, and help members navigate E-Services.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school education or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend detailed instructions and memos.
• Basic arithmetic and accuracy in everyday transactions.
• Knowledge of core computer system and email is helpful.
• Ability to concentrate and maintain accuracy under pressure.
• Strong communication and cross-selling skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist members in person, drive-ups, and by telephone using an online teller terminal to process transactions.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, check cashing, and account information.
• Handle special requests like stop payments, direct deposit, ACH, payroll deductions, and wires.
• Balance cash drawer daily and resolve any errors with members.
• Promote credit union products and services and referrals to specialists as needed.
• Open and close the branch following procedures and policies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of policies and participate in training.
