Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend detailed instructions and memos.
• Operate an on-line teller terminal and basic office equipment.
• Knowledge of products, services, and procedures to process transactions.
• Concentrate and pay close attention to detail for most of the work time.
• Analytical ability to research and resolve member problems and errors.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with members.

Responsibilities

• Assist members in person, through drive-ups, and by telephone using the on-line teller terminal to process transactions (deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, check cashing, etc.).
• Process special member requests including stop payments, ACH, payroll deductions, wire transfers, and safe deposit boxes.
• Build financial relationships with members using a consultative approach and refer to appropriate representatives when needed.
• Educate members about Home Banking, E-Services and related products and services.
• Balance cash drawer daily and report discrepancies in accordance with policy.
• Open or close the branch following procedures and policies.
• Perform miscellaneous duties such as mail transactions, deposits verifications, filing, and updating accounts.
