Financial Staffing Resources, Ltd. is seeking a Loan Specialist in Dallas to drive member loan applications, build relationships, and guide customers through the front-end loan process.

You will present loan options, collect and review applications, and collaborate with the Loan Supervisor to prepare solid submissions for approval. A results-driven mindset and willingness to grow in lending are essential.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and results-driven.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of loan products or willingness to learn quickly.
• Some experience in a financial institution (teller or MSR, lending).
• Detail-oriented with accurate loan documentation.
• Collaborative team player with flexibility to support multiple areas.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting relationships with members while guiding them through the loan application process.
• Confidently present and explain loan products, ensuring members feel supported and informed.
• Collect and review loan applications, pull credit reports, and ensure data is complete and accurate.
• Partner with the Loan Supervisor to structure strong loan applications for approval.
• Communicate loan decisions clearly and professionally to members.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities for deposit products, credit cards, insurance, and loan protection products.
• Support the lending team and assist other departments as needed.
