Job summary

MSU Federal Credit Union is seeking a Financial Services Specialist in East Lansing, MI. You will deliver personalized service, review each member’s financial position, and recommend tailored solutions to enhance their financial wellbeing.

Responsibilities include processing member transactions, identifying cross-sell opportunities, and maintaining strong compliance while providing superior service to members and driving engagement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability to work during branch hours, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior member experience and personalized service.
• Review member financial position and recommend tailored solutions.
• Cross-sell products and services to support long-term financial wellbeing.
• Process member transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Identify and escalate red flags to Fraud Department when needed.
• Handle business account transactions while mitigating risk.
• Operate two cash drawers on two systems, ensuring accuracy.
• Promote and guide members in using Credit Union technology.
• Engage in branch and self-paced training for growth.
• Build relationships with members, prospects, and new account applicants.
