Job summary

Mountain America Credit Union in Meridian, ID is seeking a Financial Service Representative I to assess member needs, advise on products, and assist with loan servicing and cross-selling to help members achieve their financial dreams. This full-time role emphasizes exceptional service and building lasting member relationships.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:40am–6:15pm, Saturdays 8:40am–2:15pm with a weekday off when a Saturday is worked.

Qualifications

• At least 1+ year of retail banking or related sales and customer service experience.
• Ability to satisfy immediate and unexpected needs by recommending credit union products and services with knowledge and confidence.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain composure while handling all member activities and requests.
• Ability to prepare loan documents and cross-sell financial services of the credit union to ensure quality service.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Ability to communicate effectively using written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assess member needs and advise on financial solutions.
• Open new accounts and service existing accounts.
• Cross-sell MACU products and services to members as appropriate.
• Handle loan applications, documentation, and closings.
• Provide exceptional member service and resolve issues.
