New Bedford Credit Union is seeking a Retail Services Representative (Teller) to provide cash receipt and payment services to members in accordance with credit union policies. You will maintain accurate cash drawers, answer inquiries, and cross-sell NBCU products to meet member needs with a professional, courteous approach.

The role requires strong cash-handling and customer service skills, basic Microsoft Office abilities, and a commitment to compliance with applicable regulations.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years cash-handling experience.
• Minimum of two years customer service experience.
• Prior banking/teller experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain cash drawer and settle cash drawer daily according to policy.
• Answer member inquiries by phone or in person as needed.
• Verify validity of checks and cash received.
• Adhere to NBCU procedures and teller cash standards.
• Place appropriate holds on checks per policy and regulations.
• Process money orders, cash advances, and payments by mail.
• Promote NBCU products/services to meet member needs.
• Respond to member requests and resolve issues with courtesy.
• Comply with Bank Secrecy Act and related regulations.
