Job summary

Landmark Credit Union is seeking a reliable teller to serve members with accuracy and professionalism at our New Berlin branch. You will handle cash transactions, explain basic credit union products, and maintain a balanced cash drawer daily.

The role requires strong communication, good problem-solving and the ability to work both independently and within a team. Weekend shifts, including Saturdays, are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous work experience with cash handling or customer service preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving, organizational skills and the ability to work independently and within deadlines.
• Must have experience or be able to gain proficiency in all programs and systems used for this job.
• Must develop a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as they relate to this position. Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all job-related State and federal laws and regulations.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Provides friendly, courteous, and expedient teller and other related services to members resulting in a balanced cash drawer daily.
• Cross-sells other member services.
• Processes mail deposits and withdrawals.
• May assist in balancing the ATM (if not performed by an outside source).
• May train to perform open/closing duties (with manager on site).
• May train to verify checks for other tellers.
• May train to perform overrides.
• May be cross trained to help in other positions within the branch.
• May be required to attend training at headquarters or an off-site location.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
