Job summary

UFCU in Galveston, TX is seeking a Full-Time Teller to serve as a primary point of contact for Member transactions and requests. You will build strong, long-term relationships and aim to deliver exceptional Member service.

You will explain basic products, handle account maintenance, process transactions, and assist Members with online and mobile banking while adhering to policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Six months of Teller or cash handling experience.
• Six months of customer service experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree may substitute for experience requirements.
• Experience working in a team environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and explain basic products and services.
• Process transactions, deposits, checks, and cash advances.
• Maintain branch appearance and handle member requests.
• Adhere to policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with online and mobile banking.
