Job summary

First Tech Federal Credit Union seeks a Relationship Banker to act as a frontline financial partner. You’ll handle routine deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account maintenance in a fast-paced, member-centric environment at the CornellExperience Center in Hillsboro, OR.

You’ll build rapport, assess needs, cross-sell products, and deliver service excellence. Qualifications include at least 6 months in a sales or customer service role, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft

Qualifications

• Minimum six (6) months in a fast-paced sales or customer service role.
• Ability to listen to members’ needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Excellent listening and communication skills; asks probing questions and handles objections.
• Strong written and verbal communication; works independently or in a team.
• Effective time management with attention to detail; proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Notary preferred; regulatory and policy awareness for branch operations.

Responsibilities

• Process routine financial transactions for members in-person, over the phone, and by e-mail.
• Establish and maintain member deposit and loan accounts.
• Provide high-quality member service and address concerns promptly.
• Identify and recommend products/services; cross-sell with service teams.
• Meet quarterly metrics, campaigns, referrals, and sales targets.
• Complete compliance training and stay current on products/services.
• Perform account maintenance and follow-up activities with members.
