Job summary

First Tech Federal Credit Union is seeking a Relationship Banker II at Nimbus Experience Center in Beaverton, OR. You will process routine and complex financial transactions, open and manage member deposits and loan accounts, and deliver exceptional member service in a fast-paced, sales-oriented environment.

You’ll identify member needs, recommend products, and collaborate with service teams to meet goals. A HS diploma is required; notary preferred.

Qualifications

• 18+ months in a fast-paced sales or customer service role within financial services ideal.
• Ability to listen to members’ needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Excellent listening skills with the ability to ask probing questions and overcome objections.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; concise and logical.
• Strong time management and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to learn multiple computer systems and use technology to solve member issues.
• Strong critical thinking and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; notary preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process routine and complex financial transactions for members in person, over the phone, and by e-mail.
• Establish and maintain member deposit and loan accounts including business, trusts, fiduciary, and IRA accounts.
• Provide high-quality member service and escalate concerns when appropriate.
• Identify and recommend products/services to meet members’ needs; partner with service teams.
• Meet quarterly metrics, campaigns, cross-selling, referrals, and sales targets with incentives.
• Complete required compliance training and stay informed on current products and services.
• Perform account maintenance and update member information.
• Conduct follow-ups and outbound calls for new/existing members.
• Assist Branch leadership with onboarding of new Representatives as needed.
