Job summary

First Tech Federal Credit Union is seeking a Relationship Banker to serve as a frontline financial partner within a dynamic member-focused team. You will process routine financial transactions in-person, by phone, and via email, while building rapport and tailoring product recommendations to meet members’ financial goals.

The role emphasizes consultative conversations, cross-selling opportunities, and adherence to regulatory procedures, with a strong focus on service excellence and team

Qualifications

• Minimum six months in a fast-paced sales or customer service role required; financial services experience preferred.
• Ability to listen to members’ needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Excellent listening and probing skills; able to address concerns and overcome objections.
• Clear verbal and written communication; concise and logical expression of ideas.
• Strong time management and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Comfort with learning multiple computer systems and solving member issues.

Responsibilities

• Process routine financial transactions for members in-person, over the phone, and by email.
• Establish and maintain member deposit and loan accounts.
• Provide high-quality member service and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Identify and recommend products/services to meet member needs and partner with service teams.
• Meet quarterly metrics, cross-sell referrals, and sales targets.
• Complete compliance training and stay current on products and services.
• Update member contact information and perform follow-up calls.
