Job summary

Georgia's Own Credit Union is seeking a Universal Banker I in Dunwoody, GA. You will greet members, handle transactions, and cross-sell credit union services. You will balance cash, process loans, and ensure compliance with policies while delivering exceptional member service.

The position offers hourly pay of $23.00 with medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) matching. Strong emphasis on teamwork, integrity, and member-focused service across channels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years in a financial branch or related environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly with members and teammates.
• Familiarity with loan processes and internal policies.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and connect them with Georgia's Own Credit Union services.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other transactions.
• Maintain accurate balancing records and follow teller balancing standards.
• Handle member issues per policies while staying compliant.
• Operate branch technology including ATMs, cash recyclers, and check scanning.
• Open/close consumer and business membership accounts.
• Assist with loan applications and document review.
• Provide consultative product recommendations based on member needs.
• Document interactions in the CRM/IRM system and follow up as needed.
• Participate in training to improve universal banking, service, and compliance.
