Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Membership and Wellness Coordinator to support the Membership and Wellness Director in creating a welcoming Member Experience Desk and promoting health initiatives. The role requires flexible hours, leadership of staff, and collaboration to grow branch membership and wellness programs.

Responsibilities include staff training, enrollment procedures, wellness activities, and participation in events to promote the YMCA and its services. Evening/weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• AA degree or equivalent education preferred.
• ACSM, ACE, NASM, or NSCA certification.
• Current CPR, AED, O2, First Aid required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for desk and wellness services, including member relations and program registration.
• Monitor operations to meet health and safety standards and ensure certifications are current.
• Assist in training staff and scheduling, directing personnel and volunteers as needed.
• Develop wellness programs and enrollment procedures to boost retention and engagement.
• Support membership recruitment strategies and represent the YMCA at events.
• Coordinate sales and customer service training for desk and wellness staff.
