Job summary

Hancock Health is seeking a customer-focused team member for the Wellness Center, supporting new and current members with tours, pricing information, and member services.

You will handle calls and visits with a professional appearance, assist in the sales process, participate in community outreach, and promote center programs and policies.

A flexible schedule, basic computer skills, and prior direct-sales or fitness-center experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and excellent communication and customer service required.
• Previous experience in direct sales preferred.
• Experience in community, commercial or hospital-based fitness center preferred.

Responsibilities

• Involved in the new member sales process, facility tours, sales presentation, and new member initial appointments.
• Meets and follows all goals assigned by the Programs & Operations Manager.
• Involved in community outreach by attending health fairs and setting promotional boxes.
• Maintains current information on center programs, services, and activities, and promotes them regularly to staff and members.
• Follows procedures when equipment is malfunctioning and reports within 24 hours.
• Attends all scheduled employee meetings.
• Maintains positive communications with peers and adheres to Wellness Center policies.
• Assumes other duties and projects as assigned.
