Job summary

Power Wellness is seeking a Member Services Associate at Northwestern Medicine Huntley Health & Fitness Center. The role supports members, guests, and prospects with enrollment, information, and retention initiatives.

You will handle membership sign-ups, payments, and handbook delivery while promoting services and maintaining service standards. Strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of related experience or training preferred.
• 2-3 years of sales, reception and computer skills preferred.
• CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service desk interactions, opening/closing, phones, POS, guest registration and fees.
• Promote and sell memberships and ancillary services like personal training and nutrition.
• Schedule appointments via core software, with reminders and cancellations.
• Balance drawers and understand credit card and cash policies.
• Enroll members via contracts, obtain signatures and provide handbooks.
• Use radio communications with departments as needed.
• Aim for satisfaction metrics from surveys and secret shops.
• Maintain an average of 5 shifts per month.
• Stand for 3-6 hours per shift as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
