Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of teller experience in a financial institution or retail sales/cashier role.
• Either 2 years retail sales experience, or an Associate degree in Business Admin, Marketing, Accounting or Finance, or 1 year of member/customer facing experience within financial services.

Responsibilities

• Performs a broad range of member sales and service functions as well as teller transactions to deliver the desired member experience; focuses on listening to identify member needs, asking questions and cross selling products/services.
• Process loan applications, open new memberships, set up IRAs, automation services, and support Call Center as needed; explain ownership options and eligibility requirements for membership.
• Balance drawer and complete teller transactions accurately; handle cashing checks, deposits, withdrawals and account maintenance; follow service standards.
• Build loyal member relationships by addressing needs, resolving issues, and cross selling MSGCU products and services.
