Job summary

Michigan Schools & Government Credit Union (MSGCU) is seeking a full‑time Member Service Representative/Teller to deliver exceptional member experiences at our Canton, MI location. You will assist members with deposits, loans, IRA openings, and automated services while maintaining service standards and accurate records.

Ideal candidates have strong communication and listening skills, with 6 months of teller or retail sales experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with customer-facing experience.
• Retail or financial services experience preferred.
• Ability to listen, ask questions and cross-sell products.

Responsibilities

• Process loan applications and open new memberships and IRAs.
• Open automated services and support Call Center as needed.
• Perform teller transactions and ensure accurate end-of-day balances.
• Cross-sell MSGCU products with a consultative approach.
