Keesler Federal Credit Union in Gulfport, MS is seeking a Member Contact Specialist I to deliver outstanding member service by phone, process financial transactions, and respond to account inquiries with accuracy and courtesy.

Under supervision and with established policies, you will handle transfers, account changes, and routine requests, while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with BSA/OFAC rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of similar or related experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Good typing and keyboarding skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail; punctuality and attendance are critical.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Pleasant, distinct voice reflecting helpful attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality member service by handling inquiries and transactions over the phone.
• Identify members and verify ownership per policy.
• Perform file maintenance, account changes, and non-cash transactions.
• Provide balance, loan, credit card, and history information on request.
• Process wire transfers and Speed Pay within limits.
• Escalate disputes and issues when needed.
• Use Synapsys CRM to create service events and manage referrals.
• Maintain knowledge of KFCU products and services.
• Meet service and production goals for the contact center.
• Ensure compliance with BSA, OFAC, and credit union policies.
• Complete required training or certifications.
