Keesler Federal Credit Union is seeking a Payment Operations Specialist II for its Gulfport, MS location. The role handles ACH, wires, and share drafts with strict adherence to NACHA and federal rules, under supervision.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of related experience, strong communication, data entry, and Excel skills, and a commitment to member service. On-site position with opportunities for growth within Payments Operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPD Online courses as assigned.
• 1–3 years of related banking experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient typing and data entry required.
• Excel knowledge preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Confidentiality, dependability, and professionalism.
• Knowledge of credit union operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform Payment Operations Specialist I duties.
• Communicate effectively and provide quality service to members and teammates.
• Process ACH unposted exceptions, payroll files, EFT setups, disputes, and returns.
• Post and return ACH items by daily deadlines.
• Research and resolve ACH errors and member inquiries.
• Process share draft adjustments, exceptions, returns, disputes, and escheatment.
• Process mailed-in payroll, deposits, and payments.
• Process wires (domestic & international) and outgoing branch wires.
• Comply with dual-control procedures.
• Support branches and other departments as needed.
• Travel to alternate work locations as required.
