Job summary

Sam's West, Inc. is seeking a frontline associate in Springfield, IL to provide member service at the checkout, process purchases, and assist with returns and exchanges.

You’ll promote club products, help members with self-checkout technology, and ensure a safe, organized shopping environment. Responsibilities include handling payments, maintaining the front end, resolving member concerns, and supporting training on processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Retail experience including operating front end equipment such as a cash register.
• Experience with mobile retail applications.
• Willingness to work at the Springfield, IL location.

Responsibilities

• Provides member service and maintains the checkout area.
• Resolves member issues and concerns and processes member purchases.
• Assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges per policy.
• Promotes Sam's Club products and services and guides members on self-service tech.
• Maintains safety and security, conducts safety sweeps, and reports unsafe conditions.
• Maintains paperwork and documentation relevant to shifts and operations.
