Job summary

NYM Federal Credit Union is seeking a friendly Member Service Representative to deliver exceptional member service and assist with accounts, loans, and teller transactions. You will assess member needs, explain products, and support the branch team to achieve service and sales goals.

Ideal candidates have retail banking exposure, a high school diploma, and the ability to multi-task with strong time management. Overtime availability is expected in this role.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to assess member needs and provide solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent member service for all transactions.
• Process opening and onboarding of new members.
• Perform account maintenance and servicing on existing accounts.
• Handle loan applications and documentation per underwriting requirements.
• Cross-sell NYM FCU products where appropriate.
• Maintain knowledge of NYM FCU products and policies.
• Assist with branch opening/closing and compliance training.
