Municipal Credit Union is seeking a Member Service Representative in New York to deliver exceptional service, assess member needs, and provide tailored financial solutions. You will handle new accounts, loan applications, and teller transactions in a high-volume branch, focusing on accurate processing and member satisfaction.

The role emphasizes cross-selling, guiding members through digital tools, and maintaining compliance with MCU policies.

Qualifications

• Retail banking experience is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Technologically proficient.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Brand Ambassador: Represent MCU’s core values and deliver excellent member service- every member, every transaction, every time.
• Demonstrate professionalism and empathy during all member and team interactions.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion of members’ financial information.
• Process the onboarding of new members and provide a welcoming experience.
• Cross-sell MCU products/services to best-fit member needs.
• Educate and assist members in adopting digital banking tools and self-service options.
• Provide teller line coverage and lobby management as needed.
• Process loan applications and ensure proper documentation for underwriting.
