Job summary

Navy Federal Credit Union is seeking a part-time member services professional at our Virginia Beach, VA location. You will counsel members on available products, assist with deposits, loans and other accounts, and help maintain accurate records while delivering friendly service.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with teammates to resolve inquiries, cross-sell where appropriate, and ensure compliance with federal and institutional regulations. Training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic counseling on products and services to meet member needs.
• Assist members with opening and maintaining deposit accounts, loans, and other products.
• Research and resolve basic account discrepancies and service requests.
• Identify opportunities to cross-service products and enhance member relationships through education.
• Understand and comply with all relevant federal and institutional regulations.
• Support team by sharing knowledge as experience grows.
• Handle cash and negotiable instruments securely.
• Process routine transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
