Job summary

DuGood Credit Union in the Jasper area is seeking a friendly Member Relations Representative with a strong service mindset to greet members, handle deposits and withdrawals, and open new accounts. You’ll balance a cash drawer and assist with everyday banking tasks in a busy, people-facing environment.

You will also process checks, help with debit card issues, and cross-train to support other departments while maintaining confidentiality. Prior teller or member services experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous teller and member services experience is preferred.
• A high school diploma (or equivalent).
• A heart for service and team first attitude.
• Strong communication skills: you know how to listen and connect.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Someone who can stay upbeat in a busy, people-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Greeting every member with warmth and professionalism.
• Performing everyday transactions like check cashing and loan payments.
• Sell cashier checks, money orders, and redeem savings bonds.
• Help members with debit card issues, check orders, and account updates.
• Open and maintain all types of member accounts and services.
• Process check orders and stop payment requests.
• Quote rates, fees, and account information; approve checks up to limit.
• Talk to members about services that could help them.
• Support other departments and cross-train to grow your skills.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow policies with care.
