Job summary

Verity Credit Union is hiring a Full-Time Member Consultant I for our Wallingford Branch. You will manage in-branch transactions, open deposits and consumer loans, and educate members on ways to transact while cross-selling products and services.

The role operates on the teller line and platform desks to ensure a seamless member experience, with a focus on building trusted relationships and delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of experience in a financial institution.
• At least 3 years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle all in-branch transactions and member service requests.
• Open secondary deposit accounts and non-real estate consumer loans.
• Educate members on alternate ways to transact.
• Cross-sell Verity products and services to members.
• Process transactions including wires, payments, and IRA distributions.
• Originate, process, and fund consumer loans and deposit accounts.
