Job summary

Verity Credit Union in Auburn is seeking a Full-Time Member Consultant I to join our branch team. The role involves handling in-branch transactions, educating members about products, and cross-selling services to enhance member financial well-being.

You will work on the teller line and at platform desks to ensure a seamless member experience and contribute to community-focused initiatives at Verity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 year experience in a financial institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the Verity Experience Process in every member interaction.
• Listen to the member and understand their goals; identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Capture relevant information and input into our CRM system.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently including wires, payments, and IRA distributions.
• Resolve member issues following policies and procedures.
• Originate, process, and fund consumer loans including credit cards and auto loans.
• Originate deposit accounts including checking, savings, money market, and CDs.
• Collaborate with team to meet sales, service and community goals.
