Job summary

Verve A Credit Union is seeking a friendly Member Experience Advisor I to serve members across in-person, phone, and digital channels. You will handle routine transactions, open accounts, and guide members through product features, regulatory terms, and digital tools.

Responsibilities include processing deposits and loans, identifying cross-sell opportunities, and ensuring compliance with privacy and security policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum six months of customer service, retail banking, or cash handling experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of financial products, services, and regulations preferred.
• Ability to work Saturdays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Greet members promptly and professionally, creating a welcoming environment.
• Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cash advances, check cashing, and official checks.
• Open and close standard consumer deposit accounts; manage beneficiaries and Payable on Death designations.
• Explain account features and regulatory terms clearly and accurately.
• Assist members with digital banking tools and problem resolution.
• Take applications for credit cards and unsecured loans/lines of credit; identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain knowledge of Verve products, services, promotions, and competitors to position solutions.
• Participate in branch and community outreach to promote Verve’s brand and attract new members.
• Balance and maintain cash drawer and recycling supply; process ATM, night deposit, and mail transactions.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and security protocols; ensure compliance with BSA/AML, OFAC, Patriot Act; complete annual compliance training.
